Head of Year 7
Year 7 Camp is upon us, and the excitement among the students is high. Please review the following document, ‘Year 7 Camp - Information and What to Bring,’ to assist in your preparations over the weekend.
Students should arrive at school no later than 6:45 am on Wednesday, August 20, and will return to school by 3:00 pm on Friday. 24 August.
Thursday, 11 September (Week 9)
Queensland Health immunisation permission forms have been sent home with all Year 7 students. Please note that you are required to return the form whether or not you give permission.
Kindly ensure completed forms are returned to Pastoral Mentors by Monday, 25 August.
We have noticed a significant increase in students needing to borrow laptop chargers from the library during lesson times. This is often due to laptops not being fully charged before school or students forgetting to bring their chargers. We encourage parents to remind their children to charge their laptops each evening and pack their chargers in their school bags. This preparation helps ensure students can participate fully in lessons without interruption.
PLEASE NOTE: On Monday and Tuesday, extracurricular photos will be taken at the Hugh O'Brien Centre. Students are reminded to bring their required uniforms, such as the College Formal Uniform, the College Sports Uniform, and the Sports Team Uniform.
Monday, 18 - Tuesday, 19 August
Next Monday and Tuesday, we will hold our Extra-Curricular Photo Days. These photos will form an important part of our Unison Magazine.
If you are part of any of the following groups or teams, please arrive at the HOB 10 minutes before your scheduled time. Make sure you know which uniform is required for each photo. You may need to bring both your Formal and Sports Uniforms, depending on the photos you are in.
Please ensure you meet the College’s expectations regarding personal grooming. Students who do not meet these expectations will be ineligible to participate in the photo.
