Highlight

Selamat siang,

This week the 3/4's have been celebrating 'Science Week' with a fun slime-making activity and Science Incursion with animals visiting the school. We have also begun our Kitchen/Garden Program with a lesson baking delicious Lemon Myrtle Biscuits.

To begin our unit on narratives, the students have been exploring our new class text "The Arrival", which has no words, allowing students to make insightful inferences from only pictures. In Guided Inquiry, we researched Indigenous leaders who were activists and made a positive impact in Australian history.

In Mathematics, students have continued exploring multiplicative patterns and algorithms. This has included creating a table of values, visual growing patterns and experimenting with function machines.

Stay warm and have a wonderful week,

Kathy, Ros, Julia, Mandy, Suzie and Emily.
