MUSIC
This year’s Gray St’s Got Talent has been fantastic so far! During Weeks 1 to 3 there were 70 auditions. Courageous, talented students sang, danced, acted and played instruments, in duets, small groups, and even as soloists in front of myself and the Music Captains. Narrowing these performers down to our 36 semi-finalists was very challenging, and now halfway through the Semi-Finals, the challenge is even greater as we try to answer the question: who will make it to the 2025 Gray St’s Got Talent Grand Final?!
We will be able to notify the Grand Finalists by the end of next week, ready for our Grand Final in Week 7. Their parents and carers will be invited to attend 😊

In The Artroom
Last week in the Artroom students continued the textile unit with students learning to weave a container to make a pencil holder using wool and a paper cup. Younger grades used paper looms to weave strips of paper.
Very BIG THANK YOU to everyone who has donated wool for our textile unit.
Ms Brown has been holding special textile workshops in the Artroom on a Wednesday lunchtime. Students are currently working on a needle felting project. Students have learned different needle felting techniques to create a panda bear.
