Dear CPS community,

We wanted to send a timely reminder we are an inclusive school providing safe and nurturing environments to shape and develop confidence, social skills in all our students. We cater for a range of diverse students with social, emotional, academic and wellbeing needs. We pride ourselves at CPS that our school community treat each other with respect and kindness.

Our goal is to foster a supportive and empathetic community culture whereby all members model our school values of Responsibility, Resilience and Kindness in our day-to-day interactions. Everyone in the Craigieburn Primary School community has an equal responsibility in making this happen.

Please refer to the Statement of Values and School Philosophy that describes the positive behaviour expected from parents, carers, and other adults in Victorian school communities. The policy sets clear standards of behaviour to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment for students, staff and adults.

We ask our community to respectfully raise any concerns by following these steps:

  1. Talk with your childs teacher

or email the school at Craigieburn.ps@education.vic.gov.au your email will be directed to the right person.

  2. If the matter is still unresolved at Steps 1 & 2 the concern will be managed by the Assistant Principal

  3. If the matter is unresolved at Steps 1, 2 & 3 the matter will be managed by the Principal. If the matter is still unresolved parents can make an official complaint to the Department of Education.

The Department supports your right to make a complaint and provides a Parent Complaints Policy to help you do this. Complaints from parents and carers help the school community by providing feedback to improve how a school operates.

We thank you for your support and look forward to working together to be positive role models for our students.
