What a Term for Our 5/6 Students!

It has been a huge term for our 5/6 students, and we couldn’t be more proud of everything they’ve achieved. At the District Athletics, our students represented Dinjerra with pride, positivity and teamwork. Whether they won or lost, they encouraged one another and even cheered on students from other schools.

Our Stand-Up Project Leaders have also shone this term. After completing their training, they presented with confidence at both the teacher and parent sessions. They showed a deep understanding of the importance of their role in making Dinjerra an even safer and more supportive place for everyone.

In the classroom, students have been strengthening their understanding of fractions, decimals and percentages, while also diving into persuasive texts. As part of our Civics and Citizenship focus, they are learning how the Federal Government works and are preparing to write persuasive letters to a politician.

It has been a busy, exciting and rewarding term, and the 5/6s have made us all proud with their enthusiasm, effort and leadership.
