NAIDOC Week
Naidoc Week (National Aborigines’ and Islanders’ Day Observance
Comittee) is held across Australia in the first week of July each year. Last week, all students at Clyde Primary School celebrated Naidoc Week and learnt about the history and culture of Australian and Torre Strait
Islander people. They participated in different reading, writing and inquiry activities throughout the week, aimed at building students’ knowledge and understanding of our First People.
