CPS Sport Update

🏃‍♀️ Jump Rope for Heart Has Launched!

We kicked off our Jump Rope for Heart program today (Friday 10th October) with Nina Ryder from the Sydney JRFH team!

Families are encouraged to set up an online fundraising page or ask the office for a cash fundraising form. Throughout the program, students will receive Certificates of Appreciation, and there will be thank-you prizes depending on how much is raised given to students at the end of the program. We’ll also celebrate with student skipping demonstrations at our whole-school assemblies throughout the term.

Our goal as a whole school is to raise $7,000, so let’s get skipping, start fundraising and have fun for a very important cause – The Heart Foundation. ❤️

Don’t forget — our Fun Friday Skipping Club starts next Friday, 8:30–8:50am. All students, parents, and guardians are welcome to come along and join in on the fun! 😊

Performing Arts Update

End of Year Concert – Save the Date!

After our Term 3 school production, Performing Arts lessons have focused mainly on Music.

Prep: Students have been moving their bodies in response to tempo and musical expression, and singing songs while imagining the meaning of the lyrics.

Year 1/2: Students have been learning to keep the correct rhythm and pitch through a variety of activities, and to enjoy singing together.

Year 3/4: Students have focused on singing in tune, producing a clear tone, and understanding the meaning of the songs.

Year 5/6: Students have explored music and instruments from different countries and started reading simple music notation while performing songs and instrumental pieces.

After working on these musical skills throughout the term, it’s now time for our annual End of Year Concert! Students will showcase what they have learned through class performances on Thursday, 11 December, from 2:45 pm to 4:30 pm in the Caulfield Primary School courtyard.

We warmly invite all families to come and celebrate the students’ wonderful achievements together.
