Welcome to our first newsletter for Term 4. With an eleven-week term ahead, we are carefully scheduling learning around the many exciting activities and events we have in store for our students across the term.
We did experience loss in our community across the holiday period, and I again share my deepest condolences to our families affected. Schools are a wonderful place in the way they support and care for each other and I hope that all our families know that we are always here to support you, especially at these times.
A significant proportion of this term is dedicated to preparing for the 2026 academic year. This includes the student class placement process for next year. This process is outlined on the following page of the newsletter and has not changed from my previous years at the school. Please read this information carefully and I thank you in advance for your cooperation with this process.
Key dates for the class placement process include:
We look forward to welcoming our 2026 Prep students to our school for four sessions throughout November and December, as they prepare for their transition to Primary School. These sessions will run from 9:30am on a Wednesday morning on November 5th, 12th and 19th, culminating in their orientation day on Wednesday 3rd December, where they will meet their 2026 teacher and classmates.
I would like to welcome Kaela Grummisch to our school. Commencing this week, Kaela is our school social worker and will join our allied health team on Wednesday and Friday. Kaela brings expertise and energy to the role, and we look forward to introducing her further to our community at future assemblies and at our weekly ‘breakfast club’.
Thanks for your ongoing support and keep doing your best.
