Principal’s Message

Dear Westbreen PS Families,

We are already in Week 3 of Term! It has gone by very quickly and we are continuing the hard work across all our classrooms. The students have showed our values throughout the last week and we are proud of each and every person in our community.

2025 Swimming Program

The Swimming Program has started for our Foundation, Grade 2 & Grade 5/6 students. The students had done an outstanding job and have represented our school in an outstanding fashion. It has been fantastic to see the students having such a great time in the water and learning lots of new skills. The sessions continue this week and next week and we know it will continue to be a huge success.

After School Cricket Blasts

Throughout the first 4 weeks of this term, there will be a Cricket Blast Program occurring on a Wednesday straight after school. It will be an opportunity to learn new skills, be active and enjoy working with others playing one of Australia’s favourite sports.

2026 Enrolments:

Thank you to all the families who have already submitted their enrolment forms! We encourage our 2026 Foundation families to visit the office to complete the enrolment process by filling out the school enrolment form and providing evidence of their child's date of birth and immunisation record. To assist with planning, we kindly request that parents finalise their enrolments by the end of this term. This is crucial as we begin workforce planning in early Term 3. If you have any questions or need clarification regarding the enrolment process, please contact Ms. Kerry Parfett, our Community and Enrolment Facilitator.

Foundation 2026 Transition Program

We have arrived at that time of year again! We are super excited to be preparing for our 2026 transition sessions. It is such a wonderful opportunity to meet our 2026 foundations students and show them what being a student at Westbreen Primary School is all about. Our sessions will be happening on the 7th, 14th and 21st of November at 9.15. We look forward to seeing everyone and making each session enjoyable. Thank you to Kerry for all her work in this space and for being so available to the community.

Curriculum Days

On Monday the 3rd of November, the school is having a curriculum day. Their Care will be open for a full day of service and bookings are now open. We also have another curriculum day this term on Thursday the 4th of December.

Have a wonderful week ahead, and thank you for all you do to make our school such a special place!
