As we gather for our Year 2-4 school concert this week, it’s a joy to reflect not only on the talents we’re about to witness, but also on the One who gave them to us.
In 1 Peter 4:10, we read: "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms."
Today, we celebrate the many gifts God has given to our St Paul children — in music, dance, drama, and creativity. These performances are more than entertainment; they are offerings of worship, expressions of joy, and reflections of the Creator who made each child unique and gifted.
We especially want to thank Josh Huxtable for his outstanding leadership in directing and organising this concert. His dedication, creativity, and heart for our children have made this event not only possible but meaningful.
Thank you, Josh, for guiding our children so patiently and for helping them shine in their gifts.
As we enjoy this concert, let’s remember that each performance is a reminder of God’s creativity at work in the lives of our children. May we continue to encourage them to use their gifts to glorify God and bless others.
Dear Lord, thank You for the incredible gifts You’ve placed in each of our children. Thank You for this opportunity to celebrate those gifts through performance. We especially thank You for Josh Huxtable — for his leadership, service, and the inspiration he brings to our school. May all that we do bring glory to You. Amen.
