Message From Our Principal

Mrs Jackie Stockdale

Welcome Back!

Welcome back to Term 4! I hope everyone enjoyed a restful break and had the chance to spend some quality time with family and friends. It’s hard to believe we’ve reached the final term of the school year — a term that’s always filled with energy, learning, and celebration. We have plenty to look forward to, including our end-of-year events, excursions, transition activities, and preparations for 2026. Let’s make the most of the weeks ahead by finishing the year with focus, kindness, and pride in all that we’ve achieved together so far.

Milestone Reached!

Last week we were thrilled to welcome Jennifer and Joshua to our community — and with their arrival, we’ve officially reached our long-term goal of 100 students!  This is more than just a number — it’s a reflection of the trust, support, and belief that families, students, and our amazing team have placed in our mission. To every student who’s walked through our doors, and to every parent, teacher, and supporter who’s helped us grow — thank you.

Here’s to continued growth, learning, and impact.  Stayed tuned for the details of our celebration!!

Staffing Update

This term, we are delighted to welcome Andrea Reid to St Patrick’s as our new Administration Officer. Andrea will be working alongside Teresa throughout Term 4 as part of a handover process, before Teresa retires at the end of the year. Andrea brings a wealth of experience and a friendly, professional approach that we know will make her a wonderful addition to our school community. We are so grateful to have this transition period to ensure a smooth handover and would like to take this opportunity to once again thank Teresa for her incredible contribution to St Patrick’s over the last 25 years.

We are excited to announce that Amie Fleming will be joining the St Patrick’s team in 2026, replacing Miss Erin Emmett while she is on maternity leave. Amie will be teaching Foundation, a role she knows and loves, having taught Foundation for the past five years at St Augustine’s, Kyabram. Amie brings with her a wealth of experience, a nurturing approach, and a genuine passion for supporting children as they begin their school journey. We look forward to welcoming Amie into our community and know she will be a wonderful addition to our team.

We are thrilled to share the wonderful news that Mrs Mclay is expecting a baby! She is due in April 2026 and will continue working for the first few weeks of the school year before beginning her maternity leave. We are so excited for her and Charlie as she prepares for this special new chapter and wish her all the very best for the months ahead.

We would also like to share that Miss Emmett will be commencing her maternity leave later this term as she prepares to welcome her baby. During her leave, her class will be taught by Mrs Brennan on Mondays and Mrs Maddie Tyler from Tuesday to Friday. We wish Miss Emmett all the very best as she begins this exciting new chapter and thank Mrs Brennan and Mrs Tyler for ensuring a smooth and supportive transition for our students.

We’d also like to share that Shaun will be taking paternity leave in the coming weeks as he and his wife prepare to welcome their baby, who is due very soon. We wish Shaun and Rach all the best as they get ready for this exciting time and can’t wait to hear the happy news of their little one’s arrival.

We will be sure to keep you all updated when these new additions to the St Patrick's family when they arrive!

Class Structure for 2026

We are pleased to share the class structure for 2026. Next year, St Patrick’s will have six classes: Foundation, Grade 1-2, Grade 1-2, Grade 3, Grade 4-5, and Grade 5-6. This structure has been carefully designed to best support the learning, wellbeing, and social needs of all students, while maintaining balanced class sizes across the school. We are confident that this arrangement will provide strong opportunities for collaboration, targeted learning, and continuity as students progress through the year levels.
