A Word from the Acting Principal

Lyndal Tewes

As I commence my appointment as Acting Principal while Megan is on leave from the College, I would like to wish Megan a time of renewal and special memories with her family.

As we take a well-deserved break after an eventful term, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on our achievements and share some important updates with you all.

Term Highlights:

  • Academic Excellence: Our students have once again shown their dedication to learning, with outstanding performances in recent assessments. Congratulations to all students for their hard work and commitment to academic success.
  • Extracurricular Achievements: Our extracurricular programs continue to thrive, with our sports teams in inter-school competitions, co curricular activities and the performing arts.
  • Community Engagement: It has been heartening to see our students actively engaged in community service initiatives throughout the term. Their efforts to make a positive impact on the community are truly commendable.

Important Announcements:

  • Term 2 Schedule: Please note that Term 2 will commence on Monday, 29th, April. Kindly ensure that all students are prepared for their return to school on this date in full winter uniform.
  • Our recent Parent Engagement evening in the Primary School and Learning Conferences in the Secondary context have been an excellent opportunity for parents/carers to meet with teachers to discuss their daughter's progress and academic goals.  The use of data to inform this process has been a valuable tool to inform best practice so that the best academic outcomes are achieved for individual students.

Looking Ahead:

As we look ahead to the next term, we are excited to embark on new learning adventures and opportunities for growth. I want to express my sincere gratitude to our dedicated teachers, supportive parents, and enthusiastic students for their continued efforts and contributions to our school community. Together, we make a difference.

Wishing you all a restful and enjoyable term break!
