Food Technology

Year 8

This week, Year 8 students made Zucchini fritters with a poached egg.  Everyone enjoyed pan frying, poaching and of course eating their delicious fritters. 

 

Years 9 & 10 Food Technology

In Food Technology, students have been undertaking creative design in the Year 10 Food and You unit and the Year 9 Make, Bake and Decorate electives respectively. 

 

The Year 10 Food and You students were required to design a Wellness bowl. To design the bowl they need to select a fruit, vegetable, grain, source of protein, dairy and herbs and spices from a range of foods. The students did a great job developing their different bowls. 

 

In the Year 9 Make, Bake and Decorate elective the students were completing an assessment task on Focaccia art. There were given a design brief to create a colourful focaccia art design. All the students did a fantastic job making very tasty focaccias and having creative designs.
