Top Arts Excursion

On the 18th March Year 12 Art Creative Practice students visited the 2024 Top Arts exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria and viewed student artworks from both the Art Creative Practice and Art Making and Exhibiting cohorts from 2023.

Themes this year include, Repetition, Perception, Space and Chaos. Students visit current exhibitions in order to gain insight into topical ideas and issues that artists concern themselves with, including the connections between artforms, materials and techniques with student concepts. We were also able to observe the development and documentation of personal visual responses of selected students folios while enjoying the gallery experience viewing the various ways that artworks can be presented to an audience.
