KUTA-KAYA

Think strong, able, powerful

Kuta-kaya Vegetable Patch

Last week two of our classes joined forces to replant our vegetable garden. The students dug new soil and organic fertiliser into our raised garden beds, then planted corn, pea, silverbeet, lettuce, snowpea, carrot and broccoli seeds. We hope for a great harvest by the end of Term 1.

Kuta-kaya Sport

Student in Kuta-Kaya have been enjoying developing their basketball skills. Skill development such as passing, dribbling and shooting have been part of their sport education this term. It has been particularly positive and encouraging to see students participate in some healthy competitive and inclusive basketball games.

Kuta-Kaya Students enjoying extra-curricular

Students in Kuta-kaya have been thoroughly enjoying partaking in the fortnightly extra curricular activities, particularly the new additions of rock painting and furniture restoration. There have been some impressive designs on the rocks, and some have been gifted to friends, family and staff. Furniture restoration takes some mighty effort but the students are enjoying seeing progress. Their persistence is to be commended.
