Principal's Report

Dear Families,

As you are aware this term Juanita has been on Long Service Leave. Sadly, she has decided that she will retire at the end of this term, after 22 years of loyal and dedicated service to our school. We will certainly be left with a huge gap to fill. Not only was she a fantastic support to teachers and students but her support of Parents and Friends was amazing. Juanita is coming to assembly on Thursday afternoon if you would like to take the opportunity to say farewell.

April the 20th is fast approaching, and we are all very excited about our 150th birthday. Thank you to those people who have volunteered to help with the BBQ. It is very much appreciated. Families of Grade 5 & 6 students have been emailed to see if any of the children can help with school tours. The Commemorative Lift Out in the Shepp News will be published on Friday 12th of April.

Colours Day was a great success. JSC raised $158 to go towards the Good Friday Appeal.

The Grade 5/6 students participated in bike education on Tuesday. They had a great day and enjoyed the informative session.

On Monday night we held our AGM where the Annual Report was presented and approve by School Council.
