Assistant Principal Report

I hope you're all having a wonderful start to the term. It's hard to believe we're at the end of Week 4 already! Just a few reminders and announcements for you below.

Open Classrooms Afternoon – A Wonderful Success!

It was fantastic to see so many families join us for our Open Classrooms afternoon earlier this week! The classrooms were buzzing with excitement as students proudly shared their learning spaces and work with their loved ones. We appreciate the time families took to engage with their child's education and celebrate their achievements. If you feel you require a meeting with your child's teacher, please email them directly to arrange a suitable time. Thank you for your ongoing support in your child’s learning journey!

Playtime Clubs – Get Involved!

We are excited to offer playtime clubs for students to enjoy during their breaks! Each term, different clubs will run and be available to various year levels across the school. This term, students can sign up for Soccer or Robotics, with each club having 20-30 vacancies. Sign-up sheets will be posted outside the classrooms of the teachers running each club.

In addition, we continue to offer Mindful Monday in the library each Monday during the 11:10-11:50 am play session. This is a quiet space for students who prefer a break from the busy playground, with activities such as reading, drawing, and puzzles. No sign-up is required—students of all ages are welcome to attend as needed.

Have a wonderful week ahead.
