Colour me impressed! Thankyou and well done
I think we can all agree that the 2024 SJB Colour Run was a wonderful day! Thank you to our sponsors for the event Olive Hill Real Estate, the Lemon family and the Barnes family, and everyone who collected sponsorship ships from friends and family.
From this event you raised $13,500 which went directly back to the school; $10,000 was paid to the school in December for IT Hardware and Software, and $5,000 to the library for books and learning resources.
New year, New P&F
At the AGM on Thursday 13 February, we elected a new P&F Executive:
President | Chantel Elliott (re-elected) |
Vice-President | Natalie Nicholls |
Treasurer | Jessica DeAngelis |
Secretary | Perrie Simovic |
Our sincere appreciation to Jenny Mitrevski and Melissa Pincham for their hard work and support throughout 2024. We are still on the look out for a social coordinator and a lead for the Year Books – please contact any of the ladies above or email sjbpandf@gmail.com if you would like to get involved. Financial report and minutes for this meeting will be published later this month on the SJB Website.
Scared of commitment? – We hear you!
We understand that we are all short on time and volunteering for activities is something you have considered doing, but don’t want to put your hand up for months of commitment. We hear you! This year the P&F are committed to asking for help earlier, being clearer about what we need help with and offering “one-time” commitments. If you can only offer two hours once a year to help on cross country day, we’ll take it!
There are so many activities at SJB that are entirely volunteer run and wouldn’t be possible without parent and carer help – the Easter raffle, the second hand uniform shop, Mother day stall, and the school fete and much more!
So please keep an eye out for opportunities to help out, contact sjbpandf@gmail.com at any time if you have questions or would like to know more about opportunities. We promise we don’t bite.
