DENDY SWIMMING
On Monday, 31 students attended the Dendy Swimming Carnival. It was great to see all students showing sportsmanship and respect throughout the day. Congratulations to all students who participated.
PEER OBSERVATIONS
This week, students began peer observations in writing. The purpose to enhance instruction and provide timely direct feedback. During these sessions, students will come together for 10 minutes of explicit learning, where they will observe targeted explicit instruction. The focus of peer observations is to improve the way writing lessons are delivered by providing constructive feedback and identifying effective teaching practices. By engaging in this process, students will develop a deeper understanding of writing techniques while also learning how to give and receive feedback respectfully. These sessions will create a collaborative learning environment where everyone can grow as writers.
RUN CLUB
This morning, our Run Club hit the ground 'running', making our way from school to the beautiful Hampton Foreshore. It was fantastic to see our 3-6 students students showing such enthusiasm and a positive attitude! We covered an impressive 2.5 km – a cracking way to kick off Friday!
A huge thank you to all the staff and parents who helped out. Your support made it all possible!
Please note: There will be no Run Club next Friday (28th) as Year 6 will be away on camp. We’ll be back the following week- See you then!
