In this issue, we will be highlighting our fabulous Prep classroom!

The Prep students have settled into class routines smoothly and have been busy bees making new friends and learning how to read and write.

A typical Prep day begins with some fine motor skills work in the morning, followed on by learning about our Little Learners Love Literacy Characters. So far, we have met Milo Monkey /m/ and Sally Snake /s/. 

Every Monday, we draw and write about what we did on the weekend and incorporate some words such as /I/ /to/ and /the/.

The Prep students have also had many opportunities to play games with their Year 6 buddies. Last week, they received some handmade R.I.C.H Values books from their Year 6 buddy and learnt about the school's expectations and values.

The Preps are having so much fun learning and cannot wait to share their work with you at their assembly in Week 9!
