Principal's Report

Staff News

We have a few changes to staff for 2025. They are:

Mrs Ryan has joined our school as relieving Deputy Principal. 

Miss Bui has also joined our staff as a classroom teacher on Year 2. 

Ms Wang, who joined our staff in 2024, will be teaching Community Language Chinese.

Mr Ly is providing Release from Face to Face for some of our classes.

Mrs Weng has returned full time from leave as has Mrs Mataele. Welcome back.

Mrs Chan, one of our Community Language Teachers, has taken leave as she prepares to retire in April. On behalf of our whole school community, I would like to wish Mrs Chan a long and happy retirement and thank her for her service to Public Education, teaching Chinese to thousands of students throughout her career.

Meet the Teacher

Our classes have now been set for 2025. This week there is the opportunity to meet your child's teacher on Thursday 20 February between 3.30-4.30pm. Teachers will be available to chat to parents during this time. It is an opportunity for an informal meeting and introduction. If parents would like to speak in depth with teachers about your child's needs, please make a separate appointment.

Leader's Induction

On Tuesday 18 February, we will be having a formal assembly to induct our student leaders for 2025. The assembly will be held at 10am under the COLA. Invitations were sent to parents and carers of students in leadership roles, however, all families are invited to attend.
