                   Education                                 (SRE)

At St Johns Park Public School, Special Religious Education (SRE) is delivered on Tuesdays 9.10 - 9.40am. 

On enrolment, parents/carers are given the SRE participation letter to complete and return. After the initial enrolment, notification of changes to a child’s enrolment in SRE should be in writing.

 

The following SRE classes are offered at St Johns Park Public School in 2025:

 

Islamic SRE    (Kindergarten - 6 Class)

Anglican SRE     (Kindergarten – Year 2 Class, Year 3/4 Class and Year 5/6 Class)

Buddhist SRE    (Year 3 Class and Year 4 Classes)

Catholic SRE    (Kindergarten, Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 Classes)    

Catholic SRE is provided by Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish (Mount Pritchard), authorised by the Catholic Archdiocese of Sydney. Non SRE 

 

During the time that SRE classes are being held, students not attending religious instruction will be located in a separate space and will participate in meaningful activities.
