Respectful Relationship News

This year we will be continuing with our whole school Respectful Relationships program across all year levels from Foundation to Year 6.
Respectful Relationships education is a core component of the Victorian Curriculum from Foundation to Year 12. It is all about embedding a culture of respect and equality across the entire school and the local community that aligns with our school values.
This term, students will focus on Topics 1- Emotional Literacy and will commence Topic 2 Personal Strength in the second half of this term. Below is an outline of the topics that will be taught during Term 1:
Topic 1: Emotional Literacy Talking about how we feel helps us to understand ourselves and other people better.

We are very proud to have 2 Year 6 Respectful Relationships Captains this year to support the program at Mill Park Heights Primary School. We are excited as they build their leadership skills throughout the year and offer student voice.
