Fundraising Team 2024 Report 

First off, a big thank you for everyone supporting Mitcham Primary School FUNdraising in 2024, whether you were a volunteer or simply participated, your efforts are most welcome.

We managed to raise $9,248.00 in 2024, which in these Cost-of-Living crunch times, which we are most pleased about.

School Council has nominated some outdoor playground ideas which these funds can go towards, and the Junior School Council will be helping decide what would be the number one choice for the school. We will let everyone know once a decision has been made.

As it is my last year at Mitcham Primary School , I am looking for 2 coordinators to step forward to take over a couple of FUNdraising projects ( which I will certainly help with). If you are at all interested and plan to complete the Parent Volunteer training that’s going to available soon, please can you email me on aysha.rowe@gmail.com your interest.

The roles are-

School Disco Coordinator

This awesome dancing event is run either in Term 3 or 4. It involves hiring the DJ, buying supplies and decorations, advertising the event for ticket sales, and organizing the team for setup, supervision and pack down. It requires one afternoon- evening onsite, most likely on a Friday.

Easter Raffle Coordinator

Coming up at the end of Term 1, this role requires purchasing of Easter supplies to create prizes, advertising the raffle, organisation of a team to assemble the prizes and doing the minor prize draw. It requires 2 mornings time commitment at school. Days relatively flexible.

I am certainly going to be able to show anyone how it all works- I promise you won’t get dropped into the deep end!

I look forward to another FUN year ahead of raising funds that our entire school gets to enjoy.
