Lions Youth of the Year

Congratulations to four Mount Alvernia students who are participating in the 2025 Lions Youth of the Year Competition. This competition involves a lot of preparation and consideration, and we are incredibly proud of the community involvement that will be on show by these students this weekend.

Good luck Amaeh, Imogen, Emma and Sarah!

School Clubs are back!

This week was the first week back for our lunchtime clubs! It’s never too late to sign up to our weekly Clubs, head to the Co-Curricular tile on MyMtA for more information and sign-up details.

📖📖A special reminder for our Senior Book Club who will meet next Wednesday morning at 7:30am in the Seminar Room in the iCentre. Even if you haven’t read the book, come along for a cup of tea and a chat – you can even vote for the next book! 📖📖

UN Youth State Conference

We are delighted that five of our students will be heading off to the United Nations Youth State Conference next weekend. The theme for this year’s conference is ‘Politics and the Economy’ and will involve guest speakers, workshops and discussion about “how wealth inequality and economic growth affects international politics” (UN Youth Australia, 2024).

Keep an eye on socials to see who will be representing us next weekend!
