Hello families,
It is with great delight that I report back about how our students have commenced the school year, engaging in Learning to Learn. Each year we take the time to explicitly teach students our classroom rituals, routines and expectations so that they can understand how learning places and spaces support them to learn at school.
In Foundation, students have learnt how to sit on their sit spot and table. Whoohoo!
Our Junior School students mastered classroom expectations through their Bingo Board. They have learnt that everything has a place and everything should be in its place … if only this expectation would apply to our children at home in their bedrooms!
Middle School students understand that they can earn Dojo Rewards for demonstrating our school values and Senior School students have been prompted about our RESET routine at the end of each day.
Last week we continued to teach and reteach these expectations so that our classrooms can run smoothly, like clockwork, enabling all students to thrive in 2025!

Book Club
Scholastic Book Club is a service offered to students, parents and teachers. Brochures advertising a variety of books and computer software are sent home with each student, approximately twice a term. Orders must be placed via the online Book Club Loop platform below.
Ordering for the current Book Club issue closes Sunday the 16th of February at 5pm. All orders placed on time are delivered to the school for free, all orders after this will incur a delivery fee.
Purchase of the books is not compulsory and there is no obligation. If you do wish to purchase any goods simply log into the Book Club site www.scholastic.com.au/LOOP and follow the prompts. All Book Club orders must be ordered and paid for via LOOP. Do not send order forms and cash to school. When the order arrives at school, books are sent home with students.
The School earns “Bonus Points” for each order which can be used to purchase new resources for the Library.

How to order
Click on ORDER in the top menu or REGISTER first to save your details for the first time. Select Teesdale PS and your child’s class. Add your child’s name and last initial. Enter the item number from the brochure.
You can order for multiple children at once. All orders are linked directly to the school.
Our school receives bonus points, which are redeemed for a variety of books for the children therefore we thank you for your continued support.
If parents wish to collect orders personally from the office, please let the school know.
