Learning Specialists

Hi, my name is Mr Bartok and I am excited to introduce myself as the new Learning Specialist for Literacy at Miners Rest Primary School. 

I will be working closely with staff to implement high impact teaching strategies that will continue to engage, challenge and inspire our students in all areas of Reading and Writing. I will be running our literacy Connect Ed sessions.

Connect Ed gives you the opportunity to experience the how and why of what your child learns at Miners Rest Primary School. Each session offers interactive and hands-on activities for you, particularly in the areas of English and Maths. The skills you learn will help you to support your child’s learning at home. The program will also enable you to become a parent helper, where you can volunteer to work in a classroom, should you wish.
