Principal's Report

Dear families,

CURRICULUM DAY

Our first session with Danny Hyndman for the year was extremely worthwhile. At the end of the day we identified key actions for the term ahead. They included:

  • Reading Conferences

  • Audit Lexile and levelled texts.

  • Engaging students in the selection of extension texts.

  • Purchasing of quality literature to extend and engage our readers

PARENT TEACHER INTERVIEWS

Bookings will close this Friday. We encourage parents to attend Parent-Teacher Interviews as they provide a valuable opportunity to discuss your child's progress, strengths, and areas for improvement. These meetings help build a strong partnership between home and school, ensuring that you stay informed and involved in their child's learning journey. By working together, we can support student success and well-being both in and outside the classroom.

BUNNINGS BBQ

Congratulations to our P & F who ran a very successful BBQ last Saturday. A special thank you to Beverley Wilson for all her efforts in organising the event. Approximately $1,600 was raised.

RUBBISH FREE LUNCHES

The students have been enthusiatic about participating in waste free lunches. Our first draw will be on Monday at assembly.

SCHOOL COUNCIL

Our first meeting for the year will be on Monday 24th at 6.30pm. Finance will be held at 6pm.
