Let's Yarn Bomb Uraidla!
The CWA are organising for the Main Street to be yarn-bombed this Winter.
Imagine Uraidla and Summerhill are helping with this project also.
They are asking if anyone in the school community has any spare yarn, wool or acrylic to assist with pom poms, crochet or knitted coverings to be donated to the school front office. Thank you!
The change of seasons is here, and autumn brings the perfect opportunity to slow down and embrace nature's rhythms. While the days may grow shorter, there’s still plenty of nature-based fun to enjoy.
As the months unfold, creeks will begin flowing, fire bans will lift (hello campfires!), and colorful fungi will appear along trails in forests and national parks.
Speaking of forests, are you planning to join us at Forest Festival during the April school holidays? Tickets are selling fast!
This autumn, explore the serene beauty of South Australia’s pine forests. Whether you're hiking, picnicking, or simply soaking in the peaceful surroundings, it’s the perfect time to reconnect with nature. Click the link below for more info!
