Dear Parents/Guardians,

Student of the Term

Each Term the teaching teams sit down and decide on who should be awarded our Prep-2, Grade 3/4 and Grade 5/6 Student of the Term. This person is usually an  'All-rounder' who not only tries hard in the classroom but continually displays our school values in all areas of our school community.

Teams Tennis

Well done to the 44 students who travelled to Echuca last week to compete in the teams tennis competition. A shout to Mrs. Mangan who planned the entire day for all of the schools and to Mr. Rasmussen, Mr Nihill, Shelley  and Tobie for supporting our students on the day.

Attendance rewards

Congratulations to Prep/1 Pascoe who finished on top of the attendance ladder for the Month of March with only 16 absences. A shout out to 5/6 Blackman/Watson, 5/6 Rasmussen and Grade 2 Carroll who all had no unexplained absences. These classes will all be treated to an excursion early next term to celebrate their commitment to being at school and learning. Today we had 86 students enjoy a free lunch and sno cone because they achieved 100% attendance for March.

Student Progress reports - live on XUNO

In an effort to keep families informed and up to date we will once again provide progress reports at the end of this term. This will give you a snapshot of your child’s progress and achievements this term. These are now  available on XUNO. Please contact the office if you require a hardcopy. Below are instructions on how to find and download your child's Term 1 Progress report-

  1. Click on the  menu, then scroll down and then click on the Reports item. If you're using a mobile device, you'll need to tap on the menu icon in the top left first, before you can tap on the Reports menu.
  2. Parents can select a specific child by clicking on the button labelled with their child's name.
  3. Find the desired report by scrolling through the list and then clicking on it to view or download it. In the XUNO Portal, you can download reports by clicking on the relevant report name. Reports are ordered chronologically by year with the most recent report at the top of the page. (Under 2025 then 'Term 1').

Staffing changes in Term 2

This week we farewell Mrs Mangan who will be on leave for all of Term two. Trudee Leahy (P-4) and Geoff Ringin (5/6) will be covering the Phys Ed classes while she is away.

We also farewell Mrs Whelan,  who leaves us for the rest of the year to take up a classroom opportunity at Lockington Consolidated PS. We wish Hayley the best with this change and look forward to her return. Ms Trickey (P-2) and Mrs Bolitho (3-6) will be covering the Indonesian classes for us.

We also farewell Miss Blackman who is the successful applicant for the Acting Principal role at at Nanneella PS for Term 2. (Congratulations Jess!!). As this was only confirmed today we are still working on the best replacement for her classroom days.

We also welcome Mrs Whitfield who will teach Thursday & Friday's in the grade 3/4 Classroom, sharing with Mrs Acocks.
