World Bee Day
This is a day set aside to celebrate bees! World Bee Day on Tuesday 20 May raises awareness of the essential role that bees and other pollinators play in keeping people and the planet healthy. The threats to bees are well known: habitat loss, intensive farming practises, diseases and pests are all contributing to stressed pollinators.
Let's look after our bees and their habitats so they can look after us!

COMPETITION!
To help raise awareness of World Bee Day, the Sustainability Team are running a Bee drawing/painting competition!
Complete a bee drawing or painting of bees in any environment, bee’s making honey, sitting on flowers, flying around, a beautiful bee on it’s own. Use your imagination and create any kind of bee drawing/painting that you like (please avoid making your art work 3D as it makes it difficult to display on windows).
Due date of finished art work is Tuesday 13 May.
Please hand entries to Ms Patel or your classroom teachers by this date.
Happy drawing and bee happy!
