Junior School

Welcome Back!

Welcome back to Term Two! I hope everyone had a joyful Easter break and enjoyed precious moments with family and friends. A heartfelt thank you to all who participated in the recent parent, teacher, and student interviews. These meetings are pivotal, fostering collaboration that is fundamental in providing an outstanding education for each student. Our Junior School staff appreciated the positive exchanges and the opportunity to further connect with our boys and parents.

Please remember that supervision is available before school starting at 8:10 am. In the afternoons, from 3pm-3.20pm students are supervised during playtime. At 3:20 pm, they move to the Junior School Library, and at 3:40 pm, they proceed to the Senior School Library where supervision continues until 5:00 pm. On Fridays, supervision concludes at 3:20 pm. It’s crucial for students to remain within these designated areas to ensure they are under active supervision by our staff.

We started our PSA training this morning, and it was wonderful to engage in activities under the sunny skies. It’s wonderful to see our students enjoying themselves and honing new skills. These sessions are not just about sports; they are a chance to interact with our boys in a unique educational setting. I am immensely proud of their exemplary manners and commendable sportsmanship.

The boys are looking sharp in their winter uniforms and fresh holiday haircuts—thank you, parents, for your efforts in keeping the boys tidy and in proper attire. Your ongoing support truly enriches our Junior School community.

We are indeed fortunate to work in such a supportive and collaborative environment. Thank you once again for everything you do to contribute to the success of our students and the vitality of our school community. Here's to a productive and enjoyable Term Two!

Year 6 Camp

Our boys woke this morning with the birds full of excitement. The boys have been ‘Expanding their Paradigm’ which is the motto of the camp. Children are called to their day’s activities with boot scooting and then venture out to be courageous, communicate effectively so all team members have optimum number of turns and all team members are included.

In the midst of washing and wiping a huge number of dishes and cutlery a student commented that they thought their parents are amazing as they do the dishes every night. A genuine appreciate of parents and the opportunity for our kids to serve have been special and lovely to be a part of. Off to watch the boys on the flying fox.
