Difference

We were extremely pleased to host our annual 'WHS Discovery Night' late last term. Supported by our wonderful 'Parents & Friends of Warrandyte' and amazing student helpers, the night was a huge hit as families came to 'Discover the Difference' at Warrandyte High School.

With a revamped style, we introduced families, from a wide range of primary schools far and wide, to all that we have to offer at WHS. Mrs Lynch, our Principal, provided families with an overview of her journey at the school since the middle of 2022, shared the exciting changes that have - and continue to take place and the ways in which our school provides not only outstanding support for the learning and wellbeing needs of every student, but also how we harness their talents and ensure every student who walks through the door is well supported to meet their full potential.

Upon their arrival, families were greeted by our friendly office staff, and then taken on a guided tour through our beautiful grounds by one of our leadership, accompanied by our students. 

Engaging and exciting activities show-cased our all-encompassing Junior School program with everything from zany science experiments to archaeological digs and cup-cake making. A highlight of the evening was show-casing our newly introduced 'Trails of Discovery Program' with students in all of our seven trails entertaining the crowds.

A huge thank you to the families from our feeder, and wider, primary schools who came along on the evening - we look forward to welcoming many of you to the WHS community in the years ahead.
