Welcome back to a new school year - we are so excited for what's in store for 2024!
We finished off 2023 strong with our Christmas Bake Sale & Raffle held at the Carols on 14th December. We raised $767 which is amazing. Thank you to the following families & businesses who donated to the raffle and for all the families who purchased raffle tickets:

Our new fundraiser BIG RED BOWS kicked off in Term 4 and I'm excited to share that we sold 130 bows- raising a massive $1657! Thank you to everyone who purchased a bow or shared our fundraiser with friends and family. Look out for Big Red Bows again in 2024!
Our total fundraising for 2023 was $12439! The focus for 2023 was purchasing new Chromebooks for the classrooms. We were able to purchase 19 Chromebooks with our fundraising efforts. Thank you to all the students and parents who participated in our events in 2023 and for volunteering your time. We are working closely with School Council on our fundraising focus for 2024 and we will share with you once finalised.
Our Bubbles and Tears kicked off the year welcoming our new prep families to MPS. Thank you Robyn, Frances, Monique and Jocelyn for organising the event.
Tuesday night we held our first meeting of the year. It was great to see some new faces come along and discuss what we have planned for 2024. Below is a draft calendar of events - please keep an eye on Compass and future Newsletters for further details:

These events cannot run without volunteers so if you would like to volunteer your time assisting in organising an event, or on the day please reach out to myself, Kirsty, Robyn, Jocelyn, Monique or Frances. We will also call out for volunteers prior to each event with specific dates/times and tasks required.
Parents' Association AGM
Our AGM will be on Tuesday 19th March at 6.30pm in the Staff Room. We welcome you to attend, whether you are interested in hearing about our events for 2024 or would like to be involved please come along.
