WEEK 5: KEY INFORMATION
Congratulations to our CISSA teams in Week 4. SMCC played Cairns High in friendly matches this week, and all teams competed well.
SMCC had good wins in:

- AFL
- Touch Football Boys
- Touch Football Girls

Run Squad commenced this week. What a great week 1 turnout. If you are keen to join come along on Tuesday mornings 7.00am.
All students have access to the new Sports Canvas Page (example belo. This is where all students will be directed to obtain all sport information. Please ensure that you have accepted the invitation and please head to the Sports page and check it out.
JUNIOR SPORT: YEAR 7
Day & Time: Tuesdays Period 5 and 6
Uniform: House Shirt
Description:
Term 1 Sports program is an interhouse sport competition at the College. All sports activities are within the school. All students to ensure that they bring a hat and water bottle. Students that are in the musical will go to their allocated room P6 and P7.
JUNIOR SPORT: YEAR 8 & 9
Day and Time: Tuesdays Period 5 and 6
Uniform: Sport Shirt
Description:
All students need to go to the Sports Canvas Page- Junior Sport-Junior Sport Term 1. You will find the weekly Junior Sport timetable, which will help you to know what you need to bring and where you are to meet. Some activities are
off-site and students will travel by bus. All students to ensure that they bring a hat, water bottle and sunscreen.
SENIOR SPORT SPORT: YEAR 10, 11 & 12
Day & Time: Wednesday Period 5 and 6
CISSA teams will need to meet in the HOB at 12.45pm on competition days.

Description:
Students are either in CISSA teams or the Sport Rotation Groups.
All students need to go to the Sports Canvas page- Senior Sport-Senior Sport Term 1. There, they will find the weekly Senior Sport timetable, which will help to know what needs to be brought along and where the students are to meet. All students to ensure that they bring a hat, water bottle and sunscreen.
PAPERWORK:
Anyone who wants to trial for TCS must fill in the Peninsula Paperwork before they can trial. This can be downloaded from the Sports Canvas page, or a printed copy can be collected from the leaflet box outside the Sports Office (near the Sports Mailbox).
Parents/Carers will need to fill in the Peninsula Paperwork and students are to return it to the Sports Mailbox. The Sports Department will seek the relevant approvals.
Students can collect the Peninsula Paperwork 2 days after submission from the Sports Office at lunch. Students will need to take this paperwork with them to the TCS trials (unless it is paper nominations). If it is paper nominations parents will need to submit via the link/QR code provided.
