House News-Monoceros 

What a hectic beginning we have had to the start of the 2024 school year. 

Monoceros welcomed our new Year 7 students on the first day of school in the CLC where all our homerooms meet on a daily basis. 

On Thursday 8 February the Year 7s participated in a Welcome Eucharist and information evening introducing their families to their Learning Mentors and a variety of school related topics, such as to how to navigate SEQTA.

This week sees Year 7s attending the Outdoor Education camp. I hope all our students attending have a great time and we look forward to welcoming them back next week and listening to their camp stories.

On Friday 23 February we will be competing in the Annual School Swimming Carnival. I, along with the Monoceros Learning Mentors, look forward to cheering on our swimmers at this great annual school event.

I look forward to bringing you more stories of what our Mighty Monoceros students get up to throughout the school year.
