P&C Update – Week 8

As we head towards the end of another busy term, we’d like to thank our school community for your ongoing support of the P&C and the many initiatives that help make Edgeworth Public School such a wonderful place for our students.

📅 P&C Meeting – Date Change

Due to the King’s Birthday public holiday, our next P&C meeting has been moved to Monday 15th June at 5:30pm in the school library.

We warmly invite all members of our school community to attend. P&C meetings are a great opportunity to hear about current projects, upcoming events, school initiatives and fundraising efforts. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions, share ideas and be part of discussions that help shape opportunities for our students. Whether you’re a regular attendee or considering coming along for the first time, we’d love to see you there.

🥧 Thompson’s Pie Drive Coming Soon

We’re excited to announce that a Thompson’s Pie Drive fundraiser will be launching soon, with orders expected to be delivered in August.

The fundraiser will be available through the Spriggy Schools app in the coming weeks, so keep an eye out for further information. These fundraisers are a fantastic way to support the P&C while stocking up on some delicious family favourites.

🧦 Crazy Hair & Silly Sock Day

Don’t forget that Crazy Hair and/or Silly Sock Day is happening on Friday 26th June.

Students are encouraged to come to school wearing their craziest hairstyle, silliest socks, or both! A gold coin donation is appreciated, with all funds raised going towards our inclusive playground project.

P&C $100k Contribution

As many families may already know, the P&C has also officially committed $100,000 towards the new inclusive playground project, working in partnership with the school to help bring this exciting project to life sooner. 

This has been a long-term goal for both the school and P&C, and we are excited to be working collaboratively to create an inclusive space where all children can play, connect and belong. 

We look forward to sharing more updates with our community as planning progresses.
