Mother's Day Stall

Hello Good Shepherd School Community,

Believe it or not, but the Mother's Day Team is starting preparation for the Stall that will be happening in week 2 of term 2!

This is advance notice of the dates so that if you’d like to volunteer and haven’t done the volunteer training through school, you can plan ahead and book in some time this term!

Mother's Day Stall dates will be:

Wednesday 6th May 11.05am – 3pm and

Thursday 7th May 9am – 2.30pm.

Please consider whether you’d like to join the Mother's Day team in serving our school community in this way. It’s a beautiful way to engage with the children and staff and we have lots of fun.

Please keep your eye out for the volunteer form to come out soon!

We are now also happily collecting any homemade gifts to sell at the stall. Please have these dropped off to school Wednesday week 11 of Term 1 and please communicate prior to the event with what you hope to donate, to Rachael Richards - r_haaren@hotmail.com.

Thanks all!

Cheers to a great Term 1 at school in the meanwhile,

The Mother's Day Team

Coffee and Connect

How are your children settling into school or ELC routine?

How are you settling into school or ELC routine? I’m sure you have some stories to share...

You are warmly invited to our Coffee and Connect gatherings each Friday morning. Join us in the church café (just come through the courtyard) after you have dropped your children off for the day.

This is a great opportunity to meet people in our community and make new friends. We meet each Friday during term time from 8:30am until 10 am. Join us for a free coffee/ tea. Stay for 10 minutes or until 10am! We are in this together...

Families are all experiencing changes that a new year brings (along with the range of emotions that come with it). It can be comforting and encouraging to hear each other’s stories. Toddlers are welcome! (We have a small playground. You just need to keep an eye on your little one(s) for safety reasons.)

I look forward to seeing you soon!

Blessings,

Georgie
