Volunteer Appreciation Sundowner

Last Thursday evening, Great Southern Griffins held their annual sundowner at the Hilton. The evening was a chance to socialise with other club members but also to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of the many volunteers who make the Great Southern Griffins community so strong.

The event acknowledged several dedicated volunteers. These are noted below.

The five year service pins (including 2024 winter sport and 2023/24 summer sport) were awarded to:

Mrs Jo Gors (Netball, Basketball and Volleyball)

Mrs Jude Hartzell (Netball)

Mrs Libby O’Malley (Soccer and Basketball)

Mrs Naomi Cooper (Soccer)

Griffins Basketball

We are in round six of the basketball season. Please see photos capturing our Griffins players in action. We look forward to a fantastic next few weeks of basketball before we break over the summer.

Also a reminder for those teams that use the gym for training, that it will be closed from Wednesday morning 27 November from 7.00am through to Thursday 5 December at 1.00pm. The gym will be closed at the end of the school year, however, games are still played for a few more weeks. Your Team Manager will communicate with you soon, if not already.
