PRIMARY YEARS ATHLETICS CARNIVAL

On Wednesday 20th of November, Hazel Glen College held its Primary Years Athletics Carnival. The whole Primary School was dressed up in their house colours and ready for a day full of fun. The Oval was jam-packed with exciting activities.

The Preps, Year 1s, 2s and some of the Year 3s got to go first thing in the morning and the rest of the Year 3s, the Year 4's and Year 5's went after recess. It was great to see everyone involved in all the activities and dancing and singing along to the music.

The students showed the 4 Rs by playing fairly with each other and trying their best at all the activities. A lot of fun was had by everyone involved.

The day is about participation and having fun but staff are also counting house points for the efforts of the students. All points have been tallied and the winning house will be announced at the next Primary Years Assembly. Make sure you get along to see the winners.
