Coins for Compost Competition

Introducing Compost Carl!

Congratulations to Jack R from 4D for having the winning name for our ‘Coins for compost’ competition! Thank you to our runner up Marion Penny and Cate F’s Grandma- we appreciate your support and suggestions. 

Hopefully we will see Compost Carl in the yard very soon and we can start feeding him our compost scraps.

Nude food competition

Well done to 4A for having the highest amount of Nude food lunches over the last two weeks!

Waste monitors at the Fete

The sustainability group and friends will be Waste monitors at the Fete on Saturday reminding attendees of the correct place to put your rubbish. They will be supported by staff and will receive a sausage and drink for their efforts. 

Our Waste monitors this year are; Chloe B, Lindsay E, Jack R, Ollie K, Penny F, Saskia E, Emily C, Olivia Mc, Oliver H-E, Bradley H and Nora M. Thank you for signing up and giving up some of your free time at the Fete to help our school.

A big thank you to Rebecca Scott and the Sustainability Fete team for working hard to make sure our Fete can be as Sustainable as possible. 

Please help us by bringing reusable bags, plates, cutlery and cups to the Fete tomorrow and please help our Waste monitors by putting your waste in the correct bin. 😊
