Starting Strong: A Great First Week Back at School!

Welcome back to another exciting school year! For many students, especially our new Year 7s, this week marks the beginning of an exciting journey filled with new experiences, friendships, and opportunities.

Meeting New People Starting at a new school can feel overwhelming, but it's also an incredible chance to make new friends. Whether it's in class, or during break times, getting to know your peers helps build a strong support network. A simple smile or “hello” can go a long way in making connections!

Getting to Know Your Way Around Navigating a new school can be tricky at first, but don’t worry—everyone has been in your shoes before! Teachers and our year 10 students are always happy to help if you’re unsure where to go. We are sure that by the end of the first week, you’ll start to feel more comfortable finding your classrooms, the library, and the best spots to hang out at lunch.

Connecting with Your Teachers Your teachers are here to help you learn, grow, and succeed. Don't be afraid to ask questions or seek guidance if you need it. Getting to know your teachers early can make learning more enjoyable and help you feel more confident in the classroom.

New Chromebooks We’re excited to introduce new Chromebooks for students this year! These devices will support learning in and out of the classroom, making it easier to access resources, complete assignments, and collaborate with classmates. Make sure to take care of your Chromebook and use it responsibly to enhance your educational experience.

Starting Strong A positive attitude and good habits from the start can set the tone for the rest of the year. Staying organized, completing homework on time, and actively participating in class will help you make the most of your learning experience.

We’re excited for the year ahead and can’t wait to see all students embrace new challenges and opportunities. Let’s make it a fantastic year together!
