Remembrance Day
Last week, on November 11th, our School Captains and Wellbeing Captains had the honour of attending Remembrance Day Commemorations at two significant locations—Vasey Aged Care and Beauty Park. The students participated in separate ceremonies at these venues, paying their respects to those who served in the armed forces. Their involvement in these poignant events allowed them to reflect on the sacrifices made by countless individuals for the peace and freedom we enjoy today. The ceremonies were a meaningful opportunity for the captains to contribute to their community, demonstrating leadership, empathy, and a deep sense of gratitude.
Wellbeing Leaders
I felt honoured to have the opportunity to pay my respects to the people who have fought in the war to save the lives of many people of our country. When Bailey and I laid the reef at Beauty Park I could see the respect and thankfulness there was real. So on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, we will remember them. Les we forget.
