LEADERSHIP TEAM

Dear Parents, Guardians and students,

The college has been extremely busy over the last two weeks with multiple orientation days, exams, activity days and the Year 12 celebration dinner. It was fantastic to be able to celebrate our Year 12’s finishing their schooling journey and hearing about their plans for next year.  We look forward to seeing them all again at our upcoming awards night as their final farewell to Red Cliffs Secondary College.

We have had Year 6 students from a huge range of surrounding Primary Schools participating in some orientation sessions across all of our subject domains. Our final Grade 6 into Year 7 Orientation Day where all of next years students who will be attending in 2025 is on Tuesday the 10th of December. We would like to thank all of our staff for running such engaging sessions for these students, showing them what schooling at Red Cliffs Secondary College will be like when they begin next year. 

Today is the final day for our Year 11 students, who have now finished their exams and completed Year 11 into 12 orientation sessions over the last couple of days.  We wish them all a great holiday break and look forward to having them back for their final year in 2025.

Year 10 students will have their orientation sessions next week, where they will be going through the subjects they have chosen for next year, as well as some sessions around study skills, VCE expectations, careers and managing their time. 

Our Year 9’s start their Work Experience blocks next week. We are sure that the students will gain some fantastic experiences from the process and possibly even a future pathway. Thanks to Alana for all of her organisation around this and also the staff that will be going out to sites for student visits.

We still have some activities running over the next few weeks, including Year 7 success activity days at Laser Force, Back Court and Putt Putt. We also have our swimming pool day on Friday, 13th December, 2024.

Our end of year Awards Night is on Wednesday, 18th December, 2024 starting at 6:30 pm. We would love to see all of our students and families there to celebrate the amazing year that we have had at Red Cliffs Secondary College.
