Maths Talent Quest

On Thursday 19th October students two students from Level 3 and two students from Foundation M went into RMIT in the city to the Maths Talent Quest Awards. Sophia and Mila from Level 3 received awards for the FLIP (Financial Literacy in Practice) for selling their rum and bliss balls. They also received a certificate of High Distinction for Victoria and a Participation at the National MTQ level.

Calvin and Maanav represented Foundation M, collecting a certificate of High Distinction for Victoria. They also collected a certificate for Highly Commended at the National MTQ level. All the students who entered a project into the Maths Talent Quest did an amazing effort and received a certificate at assembly.

ICAS

Congratulations to all students who participated in the 2023 ICAS competitions. All subject results have been completed and student certificates have either been handed out in class or will be presented at Assembly.

ICAS 2024

For those families interested in next year’s ICAS competition dates the following information has been released to help with early planning.

The Parent Portal System (PPS) opens for 2024 test purchases October 2023. It will remain open until Monday 29 July 2024. Jells Park Primary School only uses the PPS so all student entries must be purchased this way. Student entries are not available through the school administration.
