World Teachers’ Day Thank You Morning Tea
A huge thank you to all Kilvington families who contributed such an amazing array of goodies for the Thank You Morning Tea held on Friday 27 October for World Teachers’ Day.
In the spirit of the theme, we took our ‘hats off’ to our fabulous School staff who enjoyed the delicious spread set up in the Multipurpose Room.
Special thanks to Carrie Fowler, Natasha Lowe and Melinda Tassone for coordinating and preparing the event, and for washing and cleaning up afterwards. Your efforts are very much appreciated.
PFA AGM and Volunteer Thank You Night
The annual PFA AGM will be held on Tuesday 21 November from 7.00 to 7.30pm in the Sport Centre. All parents of Kilvington students are members of the PFA and are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Following the official business, we will head into the Multipurpose Room for the Volunteer Thank You Event from 7.30 to 8.30pm.
If you have volunteered at School in any way during 2023, for a few hours or a few days, we would love you to join us.

2024 PFA roles
Thank you to everyone who signed up for PFA roles in 2024. Our community strengthens with the many events provided by the PFA and the opportunities for connection and inclusion for all families. We are incredibly grateful for your involvement.
We would love to fill as many roles as possible before the end of the year, so if you are keen to join in the fun and help in 2024, we would love to have you.
There is no limit to the number of people who can volunteer for a role, in fact we encourage more than one representative to share tasks and to have fun together. All roles are well supported by the PFA.

Secondhand Uniform Shop (SHUS)
Need some new uniform items? Head on down to the next SHUS opening tomorrow, Saturday 11 November, from 9.00 to 11.00am in Dalton Hall.
This is the second last SHUS for 2023 so don’t leave the summer growth spurt to the last minute. Be ready for 2024!
Clean items in excellent condition will be accepted for consignment. Blazers, tunics, skirts and pants should be dry-cleaned please.

Kilvington Craft Social Dates
Come and join the final Kilvington Craft Social for 2023 this Sunday 12 November between 2.00 to 4.00pm. Crafts, cake and great chats guaranteed!

PFA Book Club
After a successful inaugural year, Kilvington PFA Book Club will meet again in 2024. It’s a great opportunity to talk about a great novel and get to know other parents over a cuppa and cake!
When: Monthly Sundays, 2.00 - 4.00pm, commencing February 2024.
Where: Members’ houses rotating throughout the year.
Costs: $152 for the year. This covers a CAE book group membership, including free delivery and returns throughout the year of nine books selected from their catalogue.
