Our Outdoor Education program continues to prove popular among students who are keen to explore the outdoors and challenge themselves in unfamiliar environments. Departing on Monday, Years 9 and 10 Outdoor Education students will enjoy a camp that provides a connection with nature, a spirit of adventure and opportunities for teamwork, safe risk-taking, problem-solving and resilience building, all in the setting of beautiful Margaret River. We wish all staff and students attending a rewarding and enjoyable experience.

Congratulations to our Music and Drama students for their stellar performances this week with their Recital Night and Drama Night.

We look forward to the return of our Magis Champions who arrive back in Perth tomorrow following a highly successful Tournament of Champions competition at Yale University!

Congratulations to Lyla Stewart, Year 9, for qualifying for the Strive Athletics Program. Over the weekend, Lyla competed in the All Schools Championship in three events.

  • 1500m finished 2nd after holding the lead for most of the race
  • 3000m finished 1st
  • 800m finished 4th

We congratulate Lyla on her great season in cross-country and athletics.

We would also like to congratulate Ciana Rio Torto, Year 7, who competed in the State All Schools this weekend. She competes in the U14 age group, a year above her level and received bronze medals for shot put and discus.

Well done to Lily Lucas, Year 9, who recently competed in the Eagle Bay Adventure race. This involved a 9km trail run (including 1.5km of rock hopping), then a 1.5km ocean swim, followed by a 7.5 km ocean kayak and finally an 18km cross-country mountain bike through the technical trails in Dunsborough. Lily placed 10th female overall, the youngest participant (male or female) in the race and won her age group of U15 in an impressive time of 4 hours 55mins. Congratulations!
