Kinder and Prep Orientation Programs

This week we kicked off our Kinder and Prep Orientation Programs. Tuesday we welcomed our youngest Plenty Valley Christian College students to the school! The Kinder Teachers met with families one-on-one to get to know each of the incoming 3-year-old and 4-year-old students.

The incoming Preps met in groups of 10 and were let loose in the classroom! They sang some songs and worked on those fine motor skills when cutting out animals and learning all about how God created all things. What a joy it is to see these new faces in the school. We look forward to watching them grow and flourish here at PVCC.

Where is Ken?

Ken, our regular Crossing Supervisor, is recovering from an injury and wanted to share this note with our school community.

We are praying for his speedy recovery and look forward to seeing his friendly face assisting students and families safely across Yan Yean Road.

Just a short note to thank whoever was responsible for the lovely gift box (chokies and biscuits yum) that I received from school and parents.   I don’t know how long it will take for my Achilles to heal, I was hoping to get back before term ends but it is probably unlikely.  I really miss talking to parents and students every day and thanks to all for being so friendly to me.

Good luck to all year 12 students and hope everyone has a safe and and Happy Christmas.

See you soon.   Your crossing guard, Ken Dalton

Gravitate

Year 11 and 12 students are offered the opportunity to undertake a Certificate III in Christian Ministry and Theology at Plenty Valley Christian College. This VET subject is also open to students from outside PVCC, so students doing homeschool or at other colleges are welcome to join us on Wednesday afternoons.

For students who have questions they want to explore or want to build their understanding of who God is, this course is about growing faith and discussing the Bible.

Please see the document link for more details about this opportunity and feel most welcome to share it!
