Young ICT Explorers Award winners

Each year JMSS student's compete in the Young ICT Explorers competition. The competition is designed to encourage primary and high school students in years 3-12 in Australia to solve real-world problems or showcase their passions using technology. Students from hundreds of schools across Australia take part in this competition. 

This year the results for the students at JMSS were amazing. They won four of the state awards for the Young ICT Explorers (YICTE) competition.

The following are the students who won awards and the first place winners will be going onto the National competition in 2024.

Arnav Bagal:  Third Place in the Year 9-10 division 

Jill Xu and Joel Tan: First Place in Year 9-10 division

Jamie Jee, Benjamin Pringle, Elizabeth Yap and Marcus Chan: Third place in the Year 11-12 division

Arlene Dhillon: First Place in the Year 11-12 division
