Year 6 Transition 

Glen Innes High School would like to thank all the parents and guardians who attended year 6 into year 7 transition interviews over these last few weeks. We hope the interviews alleviated any stress and concerns around attending a new school for both you and your children. 

Our remaining key transition dates are as follows:

8th of November (Wed): 11.30 am - 1.30 pm, School Tour for students followed by Sausage Sizzle

15th November: 5.30 pm - 6.30 pm, Parent and Student Information Evening

22nd November: 8.55 am - 3.00 pm, Year 6 full-day transition day at GIHS

29th November: 8.55 am - 3.00 pm, Year 6 full day at GIHS

No matter what your educational intentions are for your child in 2024, we are excited to offer you a glimpse into the educational journey at Glen Innes High School through our upcoming transition tours, information evenings, and orientation days.

Please note that all students attending these events are expected to wear their current primary school uniform in its entirety. Additionally, students should have closed-toe footwear, essential stationery, a hat, a water bottle, and lunch for the 22nd and 29th of November.

Our school canteen will be open on these days, providing your child with the opportunity to purchase any items they may need. We look forward to welcoming you and your child during these events as we introduce them to the exciting world of Glen Innes High School.
